2ND Annual Athol YMCA Turkey Trot 🦃

This is a Thanksgiving Morning 5K Run or Walk around beautiful Silver Lake at the center of Athol, MA. It's a 1KM/.62mile loop around the lake. Complete the loop 5 times for the 5K and 1/2 loop for the 500m Kids' Turkey Chase. Start your Thanksgiving with movement, laughter, and community spirit at the Athol YMCA Turkey Trot! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or a kid ready to chase a turkey, we’ve got something festive and fun for everyone.

🏃♂️ 5K Run/Walk – Adults & Families Join us for a scenic 5K through Athol’s crisp autumn Silver Lake Park. Run, jog, or walk at your own pace—costumes encouraged! Whether you're chasing a personal best or just burning off some pre-pie calories, this race is a great way to kick off your holiday.

🐣 Kids Turkey Chase – 500m Kids Dash Kids, get ready for the ultimate Thanksgiving morning adventure! In this hilarious 500m dash, children will chase a giant inflatable turkey as it tries to escape. The Turkey thinks it's fast, funny, and full of festive cheer. Parents, bring your cameras—this is one memory you’ll want to capture!
