  • Parking: orange cones or barriers mean no parking
  • Public lots: nearby lots stay open
  • Water mains: chlorine disinfection this week, then flushing and testing
  • Crews: exploratory digging on Main Street, mostly near the south end

Mayor Jay Kahn covered the Main Street project in his monthly conversation with WKBK's Dan Mitchell, including two options for travel lanes around Central Square. They also got into new housing projects and planning for Gilboa Avenue.

Two other Keene items: a longtime bookstore is closing after more than three decades. And 100+ Women Who Care Cheshire County chose Hundred Nights for its quarterly donation, to support daily meals for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
