Mini Madness: How Did We Get Here?

About this event

Where did the Brattleboro Festival of Miniatures come from? And how did our town become mini mad? Well, like most good ideas, it started small and grew!

Hear all about it from founder and miniatures champion, Melany Kahn. She’ll share her own history with miniatures, why she wanted to see them in every window in town, and what everyone can expect this year. She’ll be in conversation with Brooks Memorial Library's miniatures maven Katherine Larrabee, who will highlight library resources available to the mini-curious, as well as information about upcoming themed events at the library. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about the festival and how to make the most of the 2026 Brattleboro Festival of Miniatures. This event is free and open to the public.
