About this event
The NextStage Arts Gallery in Putney presents the new exhibit “Of Field and Feathers” with works by Townshend artist Lydia Thomson.
At the opening reception, meet the artist, explore the exhibition, and enjoy light refreshments to celebrate the opening of this attentive, seasonal collection.
Thomson’s drawings and paintings take their subjects from the fields, hills, and roadsides surrounding her home on Deer Ridge Farm. Working lately with natural inks, walnut and indigo, she observes the Southern Vermont landscape as it shifts through the seasons, finding an unexpected loveliness in the weeds that grow along its edges.
The exhibit runs from Nov. 21-Feb. 8.
