About this event

Contact Miles at (603) 525-3394 or by email to join the waitlist.

Join Harris Center ecologist Nate Marchessault and the Monadnock Bird and Nature Club for a hike at one of the Monadnock Region’s premier locations for waterfowl. Expect to see both familiar and unfamiliar dabbling and diving ducks, and, if we’re lucky, sea ducks and loons! This walk will be 3 miles or less on mostly wide paths, with many stops for birds and any other interesting wildlife we might encounter. Bring binoculars, or borrow a pair from us.

Meet at 8 a.m. at the Hinsdale Boat Launch. Back by 11 a.m. Space is limited, and registration is full . To add your name to the waitlist, please contact Miles Stahmann .

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page . For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Nate .

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Monadnock Bird and Nature Club .
